Thornton Bros. is located at 45 Cedar Creek Road, Thirlmere NSW 2572.

What are your opening hours?

Our shop is open;
8am-5pm Monday to Friday
8am-4pm Saturday.

The website is open for ordering 24/7.

We are closed Sundays and most Public Holidays.

Do you deliver?

Yes we do! Delivery is available across most suburbs within the Wollondilly Shire. See our delivery page for more information.

Can I pick it up if I order online?

Of course, just select the ‘in-store pick up option at checkout.

Do you do weddings?

Unfortunately, due to being so busy in the shop we just don’t have the capacity for weddings. If you’re after something simple, think one bouquet, a button hole or two, then we may be able to help. We can also help arrange wholesale flowers if you’re a DIY kind of Bride. Just give us a call or pop in to chat with one of our staff.  If you would love a little more on your big day, check out @twistedstems, Rene Thornton is a Wedding specialist and operates out of her studio based at the farm.

Do you do Funerals?

Yes, we are funeral specialists and complete a lot of work for local services and providers. We can help you with anything from Casket Covers to placement flowers. Give us a call to discuss your needs.

The flowers I ordered don’t look like the picture?

As a farmer florist we strive to source and deliver the freshest blooms available at any point during the year. We blend beautiful, long-lasting blooms into unique creations, designed just for your recipient. No two bouquets are ever the same here! We listen and take into account your desired message, the occasion and any other info you provide to showcase the best produce we can find in a gorgeous display from the colourway selected. If you have a specific flower request, we will do our best to work it into our design where possible. Be sure to leave us a note, or better yet, give us a call to see how we can help.

Do you provide wholesale flowers for florists and the public?

Yes. We wholesale flowers from the farm and have Delivery runs on the South Coast, Southern Highlands, Goulburn , Canberra and Yass regions. We also provide the public with the option of wholesale flowers for everything from home, to office and DIY events. A lot of the FAQ kind of revolved around delivery, so may be good to just direct to a delivery specific page to all that info rather than in this section?

What if no one is home when you deliver the flowers I ordered?

If no one is home when we deliver, we will endeavour to leave your flowers in safe space, out of direct sunlight and other elements where possible. They will be left in a temporary water source to avoid drying until their recipient arrives. If you’re unsure if your recipient will be home, we always recommend sending a box or vase to ensure adequate water supply, plus they’re pretty and are built for the vessel they come in! If we cannot find a safe space, we will attempt to contact the recipient to make delivery arrangements. Because we cannot guarantee the recipient will have their phone on them, we also request the sender to have their phone handy on delivery day, just in case any issues arise. If flowers require re-delivery, an additional delivery fee will be incurred by the sender.

Incorrect delivery details leading to re-delivery will incur an additional delivery fee.

Can I get same day delivery?

We can accommodate same day delivery Monday to Friday for orders placed prior to 1pm AEST. For same day delivery on Saturday you will need to contact the farm on 46831062 to arrange. Delivery in unavailable on Sunday, unless it is Mother’s Day or another special occasion such as Valentines Day.

I need delivery at a specific time, is this something we can arrange?

We will do our best to accommodate any special delivery time requests. I would recommend calling us directly to ensure we will be able to meet your needs. Our deliveries are generally made between the hours of 930am-5pm.

Dog Safety

Here at Thornton Bros. we love fluffy and furry creatures. However, as cute and cuddly as they may be, they can be territorial and protective of their homes. Due to this reason, if our delivery driver feels unsafe with unsecured animals at the location, we will attempt to get in touch with the recipient or sender in order to organise an alternative plan for delivery. Again, please keep your phone handy on delivery day in case we need to contact you.
